Job Title: Full stack engineer
The Purpose Of The Role
We're looking for Full Stack Engineers who are hardworking, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help deliver the best digital web experience to our customers to join Fidelity Health & Benefits Accounts Debit Card Insourcing team within Workplace Investing (WI). The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched in front and middle tier development, with a passion for using tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps that best serve our customer base.

Partnering with experience platform squads for engineering standards, standard methodologies, and tooling, to ensure maintainability and stability of the codebase.
Collaborating with other team members and collaborators to analyse and solve problems.
Supporting a cloud-first world through upskilling and augmenting squads with solid knowledge of cloud technologies.
Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and COEs, your skills will be applied to our aligned initiatives providing you the opportunity to quickly make a difference in our customers’ lives!
The Skills That Are Key To This Role
Strong technical background on crafting and developing enterprise digital applications with MVC design pattern, micro front-end and open micro service architectures.
Solid knowledge of 12-factor methodology, containerization and cloud technologies.
Angular & TypeScript: Skilled in building responsive UIs using Angular and TypeScript
Java & Spring Boot: Good experience in developing middle-tier services and integrating with REST APIs
API Integration: Collaborates with record keeping teams to define and consume RESTful APIs
Testing: Experience in quality-first, testable solutions using TDD and automation
CI/CD & DevOps: Build robust CI/CD and shift left practices
Cloud Exposure: Experience with deploying apps in AWS/Azure platforms
Secure Coding: Follows secure coding practices and guidelines
Problem Solving: Breaks down tasks and contributes to feature development
Communication: Collaborates effectively within the team and with leads

As a Full Stack Engineer within the Fidelity Healthcare Technology Team, you will be engaged in a highly dynamic group that responds to customer and business needs. Our team builds outstanding experiences for Fidelity Healthcare customers. We focus on crafting rich and compelling experiences using the best Design guidelines by way of robust tooling to provide healthcare benefits to our customers. The Expertise We’re Looking For
2-4 years of experience in designing and implementing APIs in the cloud native environment across Cloud platforms
Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science or other related field.
Experience in building highly resilient/scalable APIs for high compute processing apps and leverage DevAssist tools as part of daily development
Solid experience with Java, Spring framework and/or the Open-Source stack technologies
Location: Chennai
Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
