As an SDET-II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing scalable automated tests to ensure software products meet high-quality standards and complex business requirements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to architect automated test suites, implement resilient scripts, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous quality across Agile development cycles.
Responsibilities
Framework Development and Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks across multiple applications and services.
Automation Strategy and Coverage: Implement test automation strategies, best practices, and execution pipelines to maximise test coverage and efficiency.
First-Level Debugging: Act as the first line of technical troubleshooting and debugging for development teams and internal stakeholders.
Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile sprints right from the architecture and design phase through to delivery.
Ownership and Innovation: Drive tasks with strong technical ownership, proactiveness, and eagerness to contribute to internal R& D initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering, test automation, and problem-solving.
Technical Skills
Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in at least one object-oriented or scripting language Java or Python.
Automation Tools and Frameworks: Hands-on experience with automation tools and testing frameworks (e. g., Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, or Cucumber).
Core Competencies
Analytical and Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills, root-cause analysis capability, and meticulous attention to detail.
Testing Mindset: Strong inclination toward exploratory testing, challenging product limits, discovering edge cases, and making product exceptions.
