Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an outstanding in-store experience. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising floor activities, and monitoring inventory levels to maintain product availability and store presentation standards. The manager will drive customer satisfaction by handling escalations, ensuring prompt and courteous service, and implementing initiatives to improve customer engagement. They will also oversee retail loss prevention measures, manage cash handling procedures, track sales performance, and report key metrics to leadership. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring team members, enforcing company policies, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support promotional campaigns and operational improvements.
Qualifications
Strong customer-focused mindset with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
Effective interpersonal and verbal Communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and lead store teams.
Proven experience in Store Management, including staff supervision, inventory control, and sales monitoring.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including shrink control, cash management, and compliance with safety procedures.
Previous experience in retail or quick commerce environments, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic data reporting tools.
Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
