Alteryx Admin

Alteryx Administrator – Senior to help clients build secure, scalable, and high-performing analytics environments. In this role, you will lead Alteryx platform administration, governance, optimization, and operational support across enterprise client environments.
What You’ll Do
Administer Alteryx Server, Designer, Gallery, and related platform components.
Manage users, roles, permissions, authentication, service accounts, and environments.
Monitor platform performance, capacity, workflow execution, and system health.
Troubleshoot workflow failures, scheduling issues, integrations, and connectivity problems.
Lead platform upgrades, patches, migrations, configuration changes, and release activities.
Design and implement Alteryx governance standards, operating procedures, and documentation.
Support integrations with databases, cloud platforms, APIs, file systems, and enterprise authentication tools.
Advise clients on platform architecture, security, scalability, and operating-model improvements.
Lead delivery workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Develop client presentations, technical designs, assessments, proposals, and estimates.
Identify opportunities to improve platform adoption, workflow reliability, and operational efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in platform administration
Three or more years of hands-on experience administering Alteryx Server or Alteryx Analytics Cloud.
Strong knowledge of Alteryx Designer, Server, Gallery, workflow scheduling, and user administration.
Experience supporting development, test, and production environments.
Familiarity with Active Directory, SSO, service accounts, SQL, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Ability to lead client-facing workstreams and communicate complex technical topics clearly.
Strong problem-solving, organization, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Alteryx Server or Alteryx platform certification.
Experience with Alteryx APIs and administrative automation.
Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI.
Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and enterprise monitoring tools.
Experience developing analytics-platform governance or Center of Excellence models.
Experience leading Alteryx implementations, upgrades, migrations, or optimization initiatives.
Prior experience in a professional-services or client-service environment.
