This Position reports to:
Local Division Manager
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead projects by guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated Electrical Power, drive, and Automation Systems. You will be accountable for end-to-end execution across Systems and Service units, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and compliant with all standards and regulations. Through effective planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, you will support successful outcomes while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite
This role is contributing to the Automation in Marine & Ports division in the India region (Bangalore/Mumbai). Main stakeholders include senior management, project team members, customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and service partners.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Planning, scheduling, and controlling project activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
Supporting customer satisfaction by meeting contractual commitments and delivering expected value.
Managing project financials, including margins, cash flow, and overall profitability.
Overseeing scope, change, risk, and opportunity management to secure desired outcomes.
Leading teams and stakeholders effectively while ensuring clear communication and progress visibility.
Ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all phases, including commissioning, site management, and warranty support
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field; PMP certification preferred.
8 to 12 years of experience managing electrical power, drives, and automation projects.
Ability to oversee and complete integrated Electrical, Drive, and Automation projects in EPC, Marine, Automation, or Power settings.
Effective leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Good understanding of project contracts, compliance requirements, and project execution processes.
Proficient in MS Office 365, MS Project, SAP PS, project reporting tools, and willing to travel across India.
