Job Description
Ensure quality, safety, durability and compliance of retail store fixtures and Capex equipment.Conduct material inspections and structural/load-bearing testing for gondolas, racks, shelving, hangers, glass and other store fixtures.Conduct vendor quality audits and ensure adherence to defined QA standards.Verify the quality and safety of fixture installation at store sites.Identify defects and drive corrective actions with vendors and internal stakeholders.Establish quality checkpoints and acceptance criteria for new store projects and Capex purchases.Maintain inspection reports, audit documentation, vendor quality scorecards and quality dashboards.
Experience : 8 to 12 Years
Education : B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical /Industrial / Production Engineering or equivalent
Key Skills And Attributes
Strong knowledge of material science for metal, plastic, and glass components used in
retail fixtures.
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL)
sampling standards.
Proficiency in structural/load-bearing testing methods and interpreting test reports.Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards for store fixtures and
fittings.
Vendor management and audit skills, with the ability to drive corrective action closure.Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills; comfortable with MS Excel/quality
scorecards and dashboards.
Good coordination and stakeholder management skills to work across procurement,
projects, and store operations teams.
Willingness to travel extensively to vendor facilities and store sites for inspections and
installation verification.
