As a Hybrid Professional in the China Market Team, you will work closely with our Client Advisors to provide support in all facets of daily business routine, whilst maintaining awareness of, and sensitivity to the confidential nature of Private Banking clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor client accounts and assist with daily account administration (updating account documentation, managing client Periodic Review process)
Help manage account opening / onboarding process
Support Client Advisors in Know-Your-Client documentation and processes and Suitability assessments and reporting
Own the full trading life-cycle, from pre-trade checks, trade execution to booking and post-trade checks, including risk disclosures, product marketing obligations and reporting execution details to Clients.
Develop an in deep knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank
Manage documentation (Alternatives, Suitability, Investment Parameters, OTC etc.)
Act as a primary contact with external clients for day to day account administration, servicing, execution of investment securities and products
Partner with the Client Service team and any other member of the broader team in the daily management of Accounts and Credit facilities, and any other accounts or activities relating to the overall client relationships.
Assist advisors in preparation for client meetings, help prepare and provide analysis of investment performance or other client presentations to deliver to clients
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or equivalent in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Bank, with background in brokerage and/or trading.
Dynamic and independent team player who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills in delivering exceptional client services, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to meet strict timelines and operate with strong sense of ownership and urgency. Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Ability to work under tight market deadlines and accuracy in executing Clients’ directed orders are a must.
Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are required alongside effective judgement from risk and escalation perspectives.
Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively, as well as good judgment and problem-solving skills
Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
Appropriate local regulatory qualification
Excellent written and spoken English language skills with proficiency in Mandarin as the role requires communication with clients in both English and Mandarin
