Role Summary
Hybrid Cloud & Workplace Infrastructure Lead responsible for providing L3 technical leadership across Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, PKI/Certificate Services, endpoint management, and hybrid infrastructure platforms. The role combines deep technical expertise, cloud advisory, infrastructure modernization, FinOps governance, operational leadership, and stakeholder engagement within a cloud-first enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the L3 technical lead for hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises datacenters and Microsoft Azure.
Provide expert administration and support for Azure services including compute, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, governance, and identity platforms.
Manage and optimize hybrid identity solutions leveraging Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, and Conditional Access.
Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption initiatives aligned with cloud-first architectural principles.
Act as a trusted technical advisor by recommending secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
Drive Azure FinOps practices through cost analysis, utilization optimization, rightsizing, reserved capacity planning, and governance controls.
Administer and maintain PKI infrastructure, SSL/TLS certificates, certificate lifecycle management, and related security controls.
Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and collaboration platforms.
Provide governance and oversight for endpoint management technologies including Intune, Autopilot, compliance, and application deployment.
Support Active Directory integrated infrastructure services and ensure availability, performance, and security of core platform components.
Lead major incident resolution, RCA, problem management, and preventive actions.
Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Application and Business teams to implement secure and compliant solutions.
Identify automation opportunities through PowerShell and cloud-native capabilities.
Develop and maintain technical standards, architecture documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge repositories.
Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership across cloud, infrastructure, identity, and workplace technology domains.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Good years of experience managing enterprise end-user computing and infrastructure environments with deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Windows Server, Citrix, PKI/Certificate Management, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity platforms. Strong understanding of both on-premises infrastructure and modern cloud services with proven capability to support cloud-first transformation initiatives. Able to serve as a trusted technical advisor by recommending architecture improvements, cost optimization opportunities, FinOps governance, and strategic technology solutions while providing expert L3 support for complex operational issues.
