HPE’s acquisition of Juniper Networks is one of the most significant moves in the company’s history, bringing two networking leaders together to build HPE Networking, with the ambition of creating the best networking business on the planet. This role sits at the center of that effort as part of the Lead-to-Cash (L2C) program, responsible for unifying quoting, ordering, and fulfillment across the combined HPE and Juniper networking portfolios onto a single platform, replacing fragmented legacy systems with one seamless, scalable experience for sellers, partners, and customers worldwide.

Workstream-Specific Details
[We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Order Management (OM) Billing Functional Analyst/SME to support and enhance Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes with a primary focus on Billing within SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to design, configure, test, and deploy scalable billing solutions that support business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders for Order Management and Billing processes.
Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) Billing functionality.
Design and implement billing solutions
Configure billing types, copy controls, pricing procedures, account determination, and output management.
Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes and integration with:
Sales Order Processing
Delivery & Shipping
Finance (FI)
Revenue Recognition
Tax Solutions (Vertex/Avalara)
Analyze business requirements and develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, EDI, APIs, IDocs, and reports.
Participate in fit-gap analysis, solution design, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activities.
Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
Develop documentation including business process flows, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.
Provide guidance on SAP best practices and S/4HANA capabilities.
What you need to bring:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
8+ years of SAP SD experience with strong expertise in Billing and Order-to-Cash processes.
Hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution solutions.
Strong configuration experience in:
Billing
Pricing
Copy Control
Account Determination
Output Management (BRF+)
Experience integrating SAP SD with FI, MM, GTM modules.
Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA business processes.
Experience with Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP S/4HANA certification.
Experience leading global implementations or transformation programs.
Knowledge of Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
Experience supporting EDI, IDocs, APIs, and third-party tax integrations.
Understanding of subscription, service, or recurring billing processes.
