This Position reports to:
Engineering Team Lead - Communications & Digital
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Smart Power division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Contributing to the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, adhering to relevant standards, safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.
Ensuring that Bill of Materials for the project meets contractual obligations and project gross margin requirements by not generating Project Left-Over Material.
Coordinating with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged and tested, updating the engineering deliverables as built.
Using standard processes and tools and assisting in developing new processes and tools for the reuse of technical solutions.
Qualifications for the role
You have 3 to 8 years of experience in LV Switchgear Design, Engineering and Automation, with hands-on experience in LV Switchgear communication and testing.
You possess strong knowledge of PLC/HMI Programming and communication protocols such as Profibus and Profinet, including communication testing and troubleshooting.
You have proven experience in FAT, SAT and Site Commissioning, with responsibility for engineering activities from design through FAT and customer handover.
B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) Should be full time.
You are passionate about technical problem-solving, customer satisfaction, quality and effective coordination with customers and cross-functional teams.
