Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house and back-of-house teams, assisting with staff scheduling, monitoring inventory and supplies, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The Assistant Restaurant Manager helps drive guest satisfaction by resolving service issues, coordinating with the kitchen and service staff, and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The role also involves assisting with hiring and onboarding, training team members on service protocols, and supporting sales, promotions, and cost control initiatives to achieve operational and financial goals.
Qualifications
Strong customer-centric skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
Food & Beverage knowledge, including familiarity with menu items, food safety standards, and restaurant service procedures.
People management abilities, including Hiring, training, and supporting performance management in a restaurant setting.
Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
Previous experience in restaurant operations or hospitality, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
