Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) brings together American Express' merchant-and network related businesses to enable a sharp focus on using the power of our network to provide unique value to all our mutual customers. Minimum Qualifications:
Understanding of AML/KYC principles, due diligence processes, sanctions screening, and financial crime risk management concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps, assess risks, and evaluate case quality.
Strong attention to detail and ability to review documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to effectively document observations, provide constructive feedback, and support process improvements.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
University Degree or equivalent.
Working knowledge of SQL/Python/Big Data/Lumi for querying, validating, and analyzing operational and quality data to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
Experience with Power BI (or similar business intelligence and visualization tools) to develop dashboards, monitor quality metrics, and generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup functions) and SharePoint, to support quality reporting, governance, and continuous process improvement.
Exposure to automation and workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar platforms) is an added advantage.
Use of Generative AI (GenAI) tools and applications (prompt engineering and experience building custom GPTs), with the ability to leverage AI-assisted solutions to enhance productivity, improve reporting, streamline quality processes, and drive operational efficiencies while adhering to enterprise governance and data security standards.
The Senior Analyst, Due Diligence Operations based in Gurugram will be responsible for performing quality reviews of due diligence cases to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The principal responsibilities of this position include:
Conducting quality control reviews of completed due diligence cases to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Performing in-line corrections and identifying documentation, process, or control gaps to ensure high-quality and audit-ready case files.
Developing feedback, reporting, and quality insights to strengthen controls, improve consistency, and support continuous process improvement across Due Diligence Operations.
Partnering with the DDO Frameworks and Tooling team to strengthen controls and drive process improvements through the use of automation and GenAI.
Developing data-driven feedback loops from sample testing to enhance operational processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Reviewing due diligence documentation, screening results, risk assessments, and supporting evidence to validate the accuracy and appropriateness of case outcomes.
Partnering with Due Diligence Operations, Compliance, and Risk stakeholders to resolve quality findings and support timely case closure.
Ensuring quality control activities are completed within established service level agreements while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and enterprise standard
