Job Description – Key Responsibilities of Team Member
Operation Engineer
1. Error Attendance & WTG Monitoring
Attend WTG errors
promptly whenever required.
Regularly monitor WTG
performance through SCADA systems.
Ensure improvement in MA
(Machine Availability) and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and maintain MA
reports.
2. Resolving Repeated Errors
Identify and resolve
repeated/inherent errors within defined timelines.
Minimize vehicle
movement through effective error resolution.
Contribute to achieving
error-free WTG operations.
Maintain DGR (Daily
Generation Report).
3. TCI / EI / Software Implementation
Execute TCI, EI, and
software upgrades/implementations within the stipulated time.
Prevent repeated
failures through proper implementation.
Ensure safety and
operational reliability of WTGs.
Update and maintain the
implementation tracking sheet.
4. MTBF Monitoring
Perform regular
monitoring of MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
Ensure timely closure of
CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Work towards improving
WTG health and achieving error-free operations.
Maintain MTBF reports.
5. SCADA Connectivity
Ensure 100% WTG
connectivity with SCADA.
Enable efficient
monitoring and controlling of WTG operations.
Work to reduce MTTR
(Mean Time to Repair) through improved connectivity.
Track connectivity
through SCADA reports.
6. DRG Completion & SAP Entries
Complete DRG (Daily
Report Generation) entries on time.
Ensure timely closing of
SAP work orders and notifications.
Maintain accuracy and
adherence to planned timelines.
Track completion with
quality and punctuality.
7. Safety Implementation & Team Communication
Discuss safe work
practices with the team and contract employees.
Ensure implementation as
per safety department procedures.
Conduct regular safety
monitoring and awareness activities.
Support ZERO
injury/incident/environment harm goals.
Maintain records of
safety-related activities conducted.
8. Skill Enhancement & Training
Learn on-the-job skills
and participate in relevant training programs.
Upgrade technical and
operational competencies as required.
Ensure timely execution
of tasks based on enhanced skills.
Maintain adherence to
training timelines and completion percentage.
