Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual testing and a solid understanding of Karate for API testing. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases for manual testing of software applications.
Utilize Karate for API testing to validate functionality and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.
Perform regression testing and ensure that existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
Strong knowledge and experience in Karate for API testing.
Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with test management tools.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
