Job Description
Purpose of the role
To manage and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, processes, technologies and standards for all IAM functions to ensure the secure access and use of sensitive information across the organisation.
Accountabilities
Collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams to understand, analyse and implement IAM solutions into the banks process and infrastructure needs including authentication, authorisation, access management and single sign-on capabilities.
Management and development of policies, processes and standards for all essential IAM functions aligned to the banks security and regulatory requirements.
Execution of IAM audits to monitor processes and ensure that they comply with policies and regulations and identify potential security risks.
Execution of incident investigations to respond to IAM related security events, identify the root cause of the incident and implement corrective measures efficiently.
Identification of emerging IAM technologies and industry trends by collaborating with networks and conferences to gain IAM expertise and best practice.
Development of IAM governance documents and reports to align the implementation and adherence of policies across the organisation.

Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

To be successful as a MFA Onboarding Analyst, you should have the following essential skills:
Experience managing/driving large scale remediation programs involving hundreds of applications and multiple delivery teams
Demonstrated experience leading multi-faceted cross-functional projects involving application owners, infrastructure teams, security architects, and business stakeholders.
Ample stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge senior technology and business leaders.
Experience developing MFA onboarding strategies, integration patterns, and future-state authentication roadmaps.
Ability to drive outcomes in multi-faceted environments through effective communication, negotiation, and executive-level reporting.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience supporting regulatory remediation projects, control uplift programs, and compliance-driven security projects.
Familiarity with authentication modernization projects.
Ample understanding of IAM governance, risk management, control frameworks, and audit requirements.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in our Knutsford office
