Role Description The Credit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, responsible for overseeing credit assessment and approval processes for a range of financial products. The role involves evaluating customer creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements, reviewing loan applications, and ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines. The Credit Manager will monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging credit risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain asset quality. This position coordinates closely with branch operations, sales teams, and risk functions to ensure timely decisions, efficient processing, and a superior customer experience. The role also includes preparing credit reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives for credit processes and systems.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Credit Management and Credit, with experience in evaluating loan proposals and setting appropriate credit limits.
Proficiency in Credit Risk Management, including risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, and adherence to risk frameworks and policies.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support sound credit decisions.
Solid understanding of Finance fundamentals, particularly lending, asset quality, and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Prior experience in retail or SME lending, NBFCs, banks, or similar financial institutions is highly beneficial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers professionally.
Attention to detail, integrity in handling confidential information, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
