Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium and a deep understanding of Playwright or Cypress using JavaScript. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through effective testing strategies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create comprehensive test plans.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in automation testing with Playwright.
Proficiency in Selenium and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
