Experience Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing. Experience in Banking or Financial Services projects is highly preferred. Experience in testing enterprise-grade web and mobile banking applications is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts for web and mobile applications. Develop reusable and scalable automation solutions using industry- standard automation tools. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand business requirements and define test strategies. Create automation test cases based on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing requirements. Execute automated test suites and analyze test execution results. Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools. Validate REST and SOAP APIs using automation and API testing tools. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing. Ensure application quality, stability, security, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews in an Agile environment. Support release validation, pre-production, and post-production testing activities.
Mandatory Technical Skills Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver. Hands-on experience with Java (preferred) or Python for automation scripting. Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks. Experience with API automation and testing using REST Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI. Knowledge of mobile automation using Appium is preferred. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and build tools like Maven or Gradle. Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database for backend data validation. Good understanding of defect management and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps. Exposure to banking applications such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Loans, or Trade Finance. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage. Knowledge of security testing concepts and secure application testing. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based testing environments is desirable.
