Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our Internship Program. Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers you a highly dynamic, fast-paced, professional working environment and the chance to develop the skills you have gained at university in a real business environment. During your internship, you will not only apply these skills in the IT industry but also acquire a range of abilities to contribute to the business whilst working alongside industry professionals. Throughout the program, you'll have regular training and one-to-one meetings with your manager. Working together, you'll set goals and plot your development. And with our open-plan offices and friendly working culture, you'll have the chance to learn from senior managers who can help you in your future career.
Start Date: 11. January 2027 (~ 8 month)
Location: Galway, Ireland
Mandatory Requirements: Enrolled in a University during the internship and eligibility to work in Ireland in full-time during the internship
HPE Operations Research and Development Centre in Galway is one of the largest software engineering centers in the West of Ireland. As a system/software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to HPE Services Digital Experience with opportunities to gain experience across a broad range of modern technologies. You will be enthusiastic, and versatile, and take on new problems across the full stack. You will communicate effectively and be motivated to achieve results as part of an Agile team.
You will be customer-focused and be given the time to learn in-depth about software development practices, the latest tools for software development and frontend technology, as well as our Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Senior engineers will mentor you on your way. You will be part of a Scrum team that regularly delivers well-tested releases and responds to the needs of customers.
