What You Will Build
Scale Razorpay's payment infrastructure to get every Indian to pay online
Shape REST APIs used by developers worldwide
Contribute to open source and set standards for mobile payments
Drive product and design discussions - not just implement them
Brainstorm and create new directions in Razorpay's quest to make online payments easy and accessible to all
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of experience in technology
Strong product design sense - you think about the user, not just the implementation
Proficiency in any of: PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, or C++
Ability to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and arrive at effective solutions
Good understanding of REST APIs and the web in general
Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion independently
Willingness to learn new technology - whatever lets you deliver the best product
Clean, well-structured code as a default - with awareness of performance and time complexity trade-offs
AI fluency we expect:
Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants - you use them actively, not occasionally
Ability to decompose problems into structured, constrained prompts with clear expected outcomes
Critical review mindset - you own every line of AI-generated code, spot hallucinations, incorrect assumptions, and security gaps
Strong LLD depth before agent use - you design first, delegate second
Awareness of where AI helps and where it fails - and the judgment to know the difference
