This Position reports to:
Sales Director- Maharashtra & Southeast Asia
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales of B&R’s next generation technology, machine connectivity, automation & edge, high end motion system & technology software solutions in the defined area. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer engagement.
The work model for the role is: #LI- Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Machine Automation Division -B&R in Pune region in India. Main stakeholders include Customers, Sales Team, Engineering Team, Project Management Team, and Senior Leadership.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Build and maintain good customer relationships while generating new business opportunities and managing a healthy sales pipeline.
Understand customer needs and develop value-based techno-commercial automation solutions.
Support business growth through negotiations, opportunity conversion, and meeting sales targets.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time project delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Represent the organization as a trusted automation advisor, promoting solutions, market growth, and long-term customer partnerships.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field).
8–10 years of demonstrated sales experience within industrial automation environments, with experience in PLCs, SCADA, Drives, Motion Control, and Mechatronics solutions.
Solid experience in industrial sales, consultative selling, and delivering automation solutions aligned to customer needs.
Solid experience in automation applications and translating technical requirements into practical business solutions.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate, manage customer relationships, and convert business opportunities into deals.
Solid communication, professionalism, and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English, with additional regional language skills considered an advantage.
