Location Name: Pune Corporate Office - Mantri
Job Purpose
As an RBI Regulatory Data Preparedness Candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with the ever-evolving regulatory requirements imposed by the Reserve Bank of India. You will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory data submissions, as well as proactively identifying and addressing data gaps and discrepancies.
Scope to cover Audit & Non-Audit Facing aspect.
Duties And Responsibilities
Data Collection and Validation: Collaborate with various departments to collect, validate, and consolidate data required for RBI regulatory submissions.
Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of regulatory data by conducting regular data quality checks and implementing necessary corrective measures.
Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory reports to RBI in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Updates: Stay current with changes in RBI regulations and guidelines and adapt our data collection and reporting processes accordingly.
Data Analysis: Conduct periodic analysis of regulatory data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement.
Audit-Facing Aspects:
Frequency of RBI Inspection
Data submission with Compliance Team
Presentation Deck Submission ( Comprises of detailed deck from multiple Dept)
CRM, SFDC, C-360 ,etc. Access readiness for RBI Inspector, Application usage monitoring, App usage etc.
Scheduled meeting with RBI Inspection Team on data submitted during inspection.
Enquiry/Request/Complaints – Service Request data submission for FY/Monthly
Previous year inspection inputs preparation prior RBI Inspection.
Inclusion/Exclusion for any data submission.
Submission of any data inputs specified department to be finalized. (E.g. Cancelled Loans in accordance with respective IT Team & OPS Team.)
Key Decisions / Dimensions
Prioritizing processes and projects amongst the identified critical areas to be reviewed/ RCA fixes to be put in place
Displaying leadership qualities as a process owner for managing requirements and discussions with Ops & Service , Business IT & other stakeholders
Major Challenges
RBI Circular received
Data requirement received with Finance Team from RBI Team
Any other Team received data/input requirement from RBI Team
Required Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, circulars, and guidelines related to data management.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Relevant certifications in compliance and data management are a plus.
Work Experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, data management, or related roles within the banking or financial sector.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications
Good communication skills
Should have Project management capabilities.
