Job Summary: Operational Excellence supervisor role reporting to Ian Francis. You will be expected to manage a multi disciplined technical staff across all production areas in ATMC Fab and provide continuous improvement opportunities for development, PM planning and Execution.
Supervise their safety in manufacturing environment
Responsible for employee safety training and compliance to expectations
Direct and coordinate the development activities for team
Own execution to all quality and delivery expectations including, but not limited to, product inspections and Equipment PMs
Provide technical, strategic, and tactical direction for the Supervisors direct reports
Schedule shift coverage for the area MST and Sustainer
Own Equipment PM performance metrics on shift
Own Sustainer Disposition metrics on shift
Develop training plans and staffing requirements for direct reports
Drive projects & achieve goals for continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics
Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure quality work is performed
Teach, coach and mentor through development of the cultural attributes of Total Quality
Provide reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager
Job Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment preferred
BS or equivalent in a related field is preferred but not required.
Must have demonstrated effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making
Understanding of business and management principles and practices preferred
Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures preferred
Must be proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Must have good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to management, direct reports and support teams
Must display strong ethics and a desire to win mentality
Previous leadership/supervision experience is a plus
Engineering and/or equipment maintenance experience is a plus
