Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Tier 3 Software Testing Resource with 5-7 years of experience in API testing using Karate and RestAssured, along with proficiency in Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Karate, RestAssured, and Selenium.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testing team members.
Mandatory Skills
Proven experience with Karate for API testing.
Strong knowledge of RestAssured for RESTful services testing.
Proficiency in Selenium for web application testing.
Solid understanding of Java programming language.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Experience in performance testing and security testing.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.
