QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to define, lead, and execute the Quality Assurance strategy for our enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on building scalable, Python-based test automation solutions and will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
QA Strategy & Governance: Define and own the overall QA strategy, quality standards, and test governance across programs and releases. Act as the primary point of contact for quality status and risks.
Automation Architecture: Define and implement the test automation strategy across UI, API, and backend layers. Guide teams in building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.
Continuous Testing: Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enable continuous quality and fast feedback.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers and automation testers, including upskilling the team in modern automation practices like Python-based AI integration and prompt engineering.
Quality Metrics: Define, track, and report quality metrics, driving continuous improvement in QA tools and processes.
Mandatory Skills
Expert proficiency in Python for test script development and automation framework design.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for robust web and UI automation.
Extensive experience testing APIs and microservices using frameworks/tools such as RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
Expertise in BDD methodology, Cucumber, TestNG/Pytest, Git, and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
Preferred Skills
Experience with Python's Robot Framework.
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with AI/ML testing, including validation of AI-driven features.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
