About the Role
Due to continued growth across the region, we are seeking a Fire Technician to join our team, with the position able to be based in either in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, repair, and installation of a wide range of fire protection systems and equipment. You'll work with a diverse customer base, ensuring fire systems remain compliant, operational, and ready when it matters most.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect customer sites and identify fire protection requirements.
Service, maintain, and repair fire protection and life safety systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards.
Complete installations, upgrades, and minor project works.
Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.
What We're Looking For
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service.
Relevant fire industry qualifications and licences.
Electrical licence or fire industry experience highly regarded.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Effective planning, scheduling, and time management abilities.
Sound knowledge and application of WHS requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
