This position reports to:
Quality Control Specialist

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute, document, and validate functional, safety, and performance electrical tests on low- and medium-voltage switchboards, ensuring compliance with UL, IEEE, ANSI standards and customer specifications, while guaranteeing product quality, reliability, and safety prior to release. UL standards for switchboards include requirements related to construction, performance, insulation, grounding, and acceptance testing.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the low voltage team in SLP.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
Execute dielectric (Hi-Pot), continuity, insulation resistance, operation sequence, and functional tests.
Verify power, control, protection, and metering circuits.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with electrical and mechanical drawings.
Validate internal wiring according to electrical schematics and diagrams.
Configure and verify protective relays and metering equipment.
Generate technical test reports and quality documentation.
Identify nonconformities and propose corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support product release.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic or Electronics Engineering.
3+ years of experience in similar roles.
Solid knowledge of ANSI, UL and IEEE standards.
Experience working with electrical safety controls.
Hands-on experience in relay programming and control systems.
Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and tools.
Fluent in English.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
