The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of major projects, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager - BMS to join our Scoresby team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing BMS professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex automation and controls projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, and mission-critical facilities, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative Building Management System (BMS) and Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) solutions that improve building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant experience.
You will be supported by one of the industry's most experienced engineering and service teams while enjoying the autonomy and visibility that comes with leading major projects.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Project Manager, you'll lead the successful delivery of BMS and IBMS projects from initiation through to completion by:
Managing the full project lifecycle, including design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover
Leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project milestones, financial targets, and customer outcomes
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Managing project budgets, forecasting, schedules, resources, and contract deliverables
Overseeing FAT, SAT, commissioning activities, system optimisation, and technical handovers
Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Driving project safety performance and maintaining a strong safety-first culture
Preparing project documentation, reports, risk assessments, and QA deliverables
Identifying opportunities to improve standardisation, efficiency, and delivery excellence
Acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with proven experience delivering Building Automation and Controls projects who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of project management.
You will ideally have:
Electrical, HVAC, Controls, Automation, or Engineering qualifications
Demonstrated experience delivering BMS, BAS, or IBMS projects within commercial buildings, healthcare, industrial, education, or critical infrastructure environments
Strong knowledge of Building Automation Systems, controls architecture, and system integration
Experience with HVAC plant, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, and energy optimisation strategies
Knowledge of networking, IT infrastructure, BACnet, Modbus, and other building systems communication protocols
Experience leading FAT, SAT, commissioning, and building tuning activities
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and project risks
Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills
