Senior Advisor, Human Rights & Grievance Program Specialist
The Senior Advisor, Human Rights & Grievance Mechanism Specialist will lead strategic initiatives for the Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Team, ensuring our global manufacturing operations and supply chain adhere to emerging legal frameworks, particularly regarding continuous improvement of human rights due diligence and worker grievance programs across our global operations and supply chain.

What you’ll achieve
You will be responsible for ensuring our global manufacturing operations and supply chain adhere to emerging legal frameworks, regarding continuous improvement of human rights due diligence and worker grievance. You will support various human rights initiatives across the team and help ensure workers and affected stakeholders have access to effective channels to raise concerns and seek remedy. You will support assessments, investigations, remediation efforts, supplier engagement, and program development related to human rights, worker voice, and grievance.
You will work cross-functionally to design, implement, and maintain robust processes that prevent, address and remediate human rights risks across multi-tier global suppliers. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, hands-on experience in supplier engagement, and a strong understanding of international due diligence standards such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and OECD Due Diligence Guidance, as well as human rights-related regulations. The candidate will also have deep knowledge into remediation and meaningful stakeholder engagement. SER is a compliance function, and this role will be responsible for operationalizing the requirements of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive in partnership with other human rights experts on the team.
Essential Requirements:
5-8+ years of experience in human rights due diligence, ESG compliance, supply chain sustainability, and related areas, with a strong understanding of international human rights frameworks and regulations.
Proven expertise in developing and implementing worker voice programs, grievance mechanisms, responsible recruitment practices, and other worker engagement initiatives.
Hands-on experience conducting supply chain human rights risk assessments, engaging suppliers, and managing corrective action and remediation programs.
Experience working with suppliers in high-risk regions or categories, with familiarity in RBA Code of Conduct requirements and VAP audit protocols.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, executive presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive improvements across complex supply chains.
Desirable Requirements:
Masters in human rights, sustainability, international affairs, public policy, or related field.
Experience in IT, electronics, or manufacturing supply chains.
Knowledge of customer sustainability platforms, audit schemes, ecolabel criteria, disclosure drafting and publication.
You will:
Manage and strengthen grievance mechanisms by designing, implementing, evaluating, and improving worker and stakeholder complaint channels, including hotlines, worker surveys, and digital reporting tools.
Investigate and remediate human rights and labor issues through case management, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, remediation tracking, and verification of implementation.
Conduct human rights due diligence and risk assessments across the supply chain, ensuring alignment with UN Guiding Principles, OECD Guidance, CSDDD, CSRD, and other regulatory requirements.
Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance worker voice programs, strengthen access to remedy, monitor corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze data, provide training, and support compliance by identifying trends and risks, developing supplier capability-building programs, monitoring emerging regulations, and contributing to human rights disclosures and reporting requirements.
