Job Description
Role: Senior Software Builder and AI Automation Engineer
What You Will Do:
Architect and Engineer: Decipher complex software systems to build robust, scalable applications, while crafting and executing intelligent, AI-driven automation strategies.
Build Next-Gen Frameworks: Design and develop reusable, AI-enhanced automated test frameworks to drive continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and predictive regression testing.
Data-Driven Diagnostics: Deliver actionable insights through robust, AI-assisted root-cause analysis and predictive issue resolution to stop bugs before they reach production.
Proactive Problem Solving: Partner closely with engineering teams to architect resilient solutions and proactively troubleshoot systemic bottlenecks.
Modernize the SDLC: Embed intelligent automation and AI-driven acceptance workflows seamlessly into the Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
Maximize System Reliability: Boost system coverage and performance by developing custom automation tools and utilizing Generative AI methodologies in partnership with the team.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a strategic liaison across Product Management, Project Management, Software Development, and Quality Engineering to ensure the delivery of high-performance, AI-augmented software products.
Co-Engineering: Co-engineer with developers to build in-house automation tools, enhance code testability, and integrate AI coding assistants into the daily workflow.
Champion Innovation: Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to replace legacy processes with cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and automation technologies across the product line.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
Experience: 5-7 years of proven, hands-on experience as an API and UI Automation Engineer, Software Developer in Test (SDET), or Automation Architect.
Domain Expertise: Deep industry experience within the Payments and FinTech domains, with a strong understanding of financial transaction flows, payment gateways, data security, and compliance standards.
Scale & Performance: Demonstrated experience testing, automating, and building frameworks for highly scalable, high-throughput, and distributed systems (e.g., microservices architectures handling massive transaction volumes).
API & UI Mastery: Advanced proficiency in designing and building automated testing frameworks from scratch for both APIs (e.g., REST, GraphQL, gRPC using tools like REST Assured, Postman, etc.) and UI (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
Modern Tooling: Strong programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#) with experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
AI & Innovation (Bonus): Experience or strong interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs, generative AI) to optimize code generation, test data creation, and automation workflows.
