This role requires close partnership and collaboration with Software Development Teams and HVAC Subject Matter Experts. Essential Job Duties center around the technical direction of the testing team around the creation and execution of test scripts as well as assuming responsibility for the creation and execution of quality metrics. The QA Lead establishes the formal QA process including quality gates and exit criteria and ensures all testing is optimized around meeting customer expectations for functionality and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 7+ years of Information Technology Testing experience in a leadership capacity
At least 4 years working in an Agile setting, preferably within the SAFe framework
Experience with test automation including best practices to utilize and keep tests current
Proficiency in C#, test design, automation tools, and frameworks, along with analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Success in supporting and improving code releases including organizing and tagging work items to improve testing accuracy and, ultimately, code quality
Demonstrable experience in creating, revising and approving test plans and test strategies
Demonstrable experience in gathering and reporting on quality metrics in a large enterprise setting
Comfort and experience presenting to Senior Management
Mastery of SDLC and related concepts for releasing software
Experience training and coaching QA Testers
Ability to own test environment quality and strategy to improve
Experience in Requirements Planning, ideally in a PI Event setting
Experience with 8D or other Root Cause Analysis processes
“Servant Leader” approach and related success in complex testing environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma or equivalent quality certification
Experience working on SAFe Agile Teams
Planning and Co-ordination skills
Good Communication and Analytical skills
