Role Description The Quality Head is a full-time, on-site role based in the Ludhiana area, responsible for leading and overseeing all quality and patient safety initiatives within the facility. The role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems, including clinical audits, process improvements, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Quality Head will analyze key performance indicators, manage incident reporting and corrective action plans, and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to promote best practices. Daily activities include training staff on quality protocols, conducting internal assessments, preparing reports for leadership, and driving continuous improvement projects that reinforce Fortis Healthcare’s patient-centric focus. The position also requires close coordination with corporate quality teams to align local initiatives with group-wide quality frameworks.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in healthcare quality management, including clinical audits, process improvement, and patient safety programs.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement regulatory, accreditation, and compliance standards in a hospital setting.
Proficiency in data analysis, quality metrics, and performance monitoring tools to drive evidence-based decision-making.
Skilled in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
Experience in developing and executing quality policies, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Relevant clinical or healthcare background; a degree in Medicine, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
Postgraduate qualification or certification in Quality Management, Hospital Administration, or Accreditation standards (e.g., NABH/JCI) is highly beneficial.
Proven experience in a senior quality leadership role within a hospital or large healthcare organization.
Ability to work on-site in the Ludhiana area and commit to a full-time leadership position.
