Senior Manager – SAP

Role Summary
Quess Corp is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager – ERP to lead large-scale, enterprise ERP programs across SAP (ECC / S/4HANA) and Frappe / ERPNext platforms. This role will own end-to-end ERP program delivery, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technology execution, and governance standards across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership, deep ERP domain expertise, and proven experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
Own end-to-end ERP program delivery across SAP and Frappe / ERP Next platforms.
Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
Develop and manage integrated project plans, resource models, and financial controls.
Track delivery progress, interdependencies, and critical risks; proactively drive mitigation.
Ensure adherence to SAP Activate / ASAP, Agile, and Frappe ERP delivery best practices.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
Act as the single-point accountability owner for business, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
Lead steering committees, executive governance forums, and program reviews.
Provide clear, concise executive reporting on status, risks, and decisions required.
Ensure continuous alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
Proactively manage escalations and resolve cross-functional and vendor conflicts.
Team & Vendor Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams across Functional, Technical, Basis, Security, Testing, and DevOps.
Manage System Integrators, AMS partners, and SaaS vendors with defined KPIs and SLAs.
Drive delivery discipline, accountability, and quality across internal and external teams.
Conduct delivery health checks, audits, and post-implementation reviews.
Promote continuous improvement across ERP programs and delivery models.
Solution Assurance & Delivery Quality
Review and approve functional designs, technical architectures, and deployment strategies.
Ensure ERP solutions align with business needs, scalability requirements, and best practices.
Govern testing strategy and execution across Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.
Ensure strong defect management, release governance, and deployment controls.
Enforce documentation standards across BRDs, Functional Specs, Technical Specs, and SOPs.
Frappe / ERPNext-Specific Responsibilities
Manage multi-tenant SaaS ERPNext implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Oversee ERPNext modules including Accounting, Buying, and Master Data Management.
Govern user, role, and access management in alignment with enterprise security standards.
Coordinate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure stable releases.
Track delivery and execution using tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or GitHub Projects.
Required Experience & Skills
15+ years of overall ERP experience with 5+ years leading ERP programs or portfolios.
Proven leadership in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA implementations or transformations.
Strong hands-on exposure to Frappe / ERPNext in SaaS or enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage senior leadership and CXO-level stakeholders.
Deep understanding of ERP governance, controls, and enterprise-scale delivery.
Experience working across Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
