Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Senior Executive – Interior Design Coordinator. The role involves coordinating interior design activities across residential and commercial projects, ensuring alignment with design concepts, brand standards, and project timelines. The Senior Executive will work closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, contractors, and vendors to review drawings, material specifications, and finish schedules, and to resolve design-related queries on site. Responsibilities include monitoring execution quality, supporting sample approvals, tracking budgets for interior elements, and preparing regular status reports for internal stakeholders. The role also requires managing client interactions related to interior design, assisting in design presentations, and contributing to continuous improvement of interior standards and processes.
Qualifications
Interior design and coordination: Strong knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, and detailing; experience coordinating between design, site, and vendor teams.
Technical and project skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings; familiarity with project scheduling, quality checks, and site execution practices.
Design and software proficiency: Working knowledge of design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic presentation software; comfort with digital collaboration tools.
Communication and stakeholder management: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Planning and problem-solving: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to handle multiple projects, identify issues early, and propose practical solutions.
Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or luxury real estate interiors is preferred.
Industry and domain exposure: Understanding of premium and luxury lifestyle projects, current design trends, and market-appropriate materials and finishes.
