We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Python, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data transformations, and data warehouse solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, SQL optimization, and Snowflake architecture. Experience with any major cloud platform and Apache Airflow will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
Develop efficient ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, tables, and views in Snowflake.
Perform Snowflake performance tuning and query optimization.
Build Python scripts for data processing, automation, validation, and integration.
Integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, files, and cloud storage.
Implement data quality checks, validation, error handling, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues and identify root causes.
Collaborate with data analysts, architects, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams.
Follow best practices for data security, governance, version control, and deployment.
