About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Lead Content Editor to ensure the accuracy, consistency, readability, and overall quality of our learning content. The ideal candidate will have strong command of US English, excellent editing skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and proofread courses, assessments, projects, and content-related documents for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and readability.
Review self-learning videos for language quality and learner experience.
Ensure content meets defined quality standards, guidelines, and checklists.
Evaluate content flow from the learner’s perspective and recommend improvements.
Identify, track, and drive closure of content defects based on severity.
Analyze defect trends and generate defect-density reports to improve content quality.
Maintain consistency across documents, course components, and courses.
Collaborate with Program Managers, Learning Designers, and Graphic Designers to resolve content-related issues and implement revisions.
Recommend improvements that enhance the overall quality and learner experience.
Contribute to defining and improving content quality standards.
Mentor team members on creating grammatically accurate, clear, and engaging content.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communication, Humanities, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Content Editing; e-learning editing or content quality assurance experience is preferred.
Excellent command of US English with strong grammar, vocabulary, and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
Strong analytical, communication, and proofreading skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style.
A continuous-learning mindset with a focus on quality improvement.
