Executive / Senior Executive – Sourcing (Trims And Accessories)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Executive / Senior Executive – Sourcing (Trims and Accessories). The role involves end-to-end sourcing of trims and accessories, including vendor identification, vendor development, and negotiation of prices and terms. The individual will coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams to understand trim and accessory requirements, specifications, and timelines. Daily tasks include issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, monitoring quality, and resolving any discrepancies with suppliers. The Executive / Senior Executive will maintain updated databases on suppliers, costs, and lead times, and support cost optimization while meeting quality and compliance standards. The role also includes working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth material availability for production schedules and contributing to continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
Qualifications
Experience in sourcing trims and accessories for apparel manufacturing, including vendor management, price negotiation, and cost analysis.
Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements.
Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with merchandising, production, and design teams.
Proficiency in basic office and sourcing tools (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP or procurement systems) and comfort with maintaining accurate records and reports.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple orders, timelines, and priorities.
Experience in vendor evaluation, supplier development, and working with domestic and international suppliers is an advantage.
Understanding of sustainability and compliance considerations in apparel sourcing is beneficial.
Relevant education in textiles, fashion, supply chain, business, or a related field, with prior experience in apparel sourcing preferred.
