About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Spinny is India's most trusted full-stack used car platform - operating 50+ hubs across 25 cities, serving over 2 lakh customers, with a fully digital buying experience that sets the standard for the category. This is a consumer product role - everything you build will be experienced directly by car buyers on Spinny's app and website. You will own the discovery and pre-intent stages of the demand funnel: from the moment a buyer lands on the platform, through search, browse, and listing engagement, up to the point of purchase intent. There are clear handoffs to the checkout and post-booking experience. This is a high-ownership role with a dedicated engineering and design pod. You will define the roadmap and be directly accountable for core demand metrics.
About the Role
Spinny's Auctions platform sits at the heart of how we source and price used vehicles at scale — connecting dealers, sellers, and inspection teams in a fast-moving, high-stakes marketplace. We're looking for a Product Manager who has built and scaled consumer-facing products, and can bring that same rigor around user behavior, funnel optimization, and delightful experience design to a B2B/marketplace context that behaves a lot like a consumer product under the hood.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thinks in terms of user journeys, drop-off points, trust signals, and habit loops - not just workflows and SLAs.
What You'll Do
Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Auctions platform, from vehicle listing to bid closure
Deeply understand the behavior of buyers (dealers) and internal stakeholders (inspection, sourcing teams) the way you'd understand a consumer's purchase journey - motivations, friction points, trust triggers
Run structured experiments (A/B tests, phased rollouts) to validate hypotheses before full-scale build
Work closely with engineering, data science, and business teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear product requirements.
What We're Looking For
4 - 8 years of product management experience, with a significant portion spent on consumer-facing products (apps, marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech, or similar high-engagement platforms)
AI-first, not AI-curious - you don't reach for LLMs when you remember to; they're already in your default workflow
A strong track record of driving funnel metrics - activation, engagement, retention, conversion - using data
Comfort working in ambiguous, 0-to-1 or 1-to-n environments where you're building the playbook, not following one
Work arrangement
