Job Requirements
Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: BLR ATC, Bengaluru
Years of Experience: 7-10 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on API automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Continuously enhance the automation framework and tools to improve testing efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation.
Mandatory Skills
Strong expertise in API automation testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture.
Experience in manual testing as a complementary skill.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on API testing.
Relevant certifications in QA or automation testing are a plus.
