Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Python Robot Framework Tester to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and extensive experience in test automation using the Robot Framework. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively analyze requirements and deliver high-quality testing solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and the Robot Framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand testing needs.
Execute test cases, report defects, and track them to closure.
Perform regression testing and ensure the quality of software releases.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior testers.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
Mandatory Skills
Proficient in Python programming.
Strong experience with the Robot Framework for test automation.
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Experience in writing and executing test cases.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation.
Certifications in software testing or automation are a plus.
