In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
Proven experience as a Laundry Manager / Assistant Laundry Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent understanding of housekeeping procedures and standards.
Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintain high standards.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Oversee laundry operations: Manage laundry and uniform services to ensure a consistent supply of clean, high-quality linens and uniforms while upholding efficiency and quality standards
Maintain facility and equipment efficiency: Ensure laundry facilities and equipment operate at peak performance while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety standards
Ensure quality and inventory control: Monitor linen quality, stain and damage rates, inventory levels, and production reports to facilitate timely reordering, rewashing, and repairs
Manage financial performance: Oversee budgeting, payroll, purchasing, and cost control to optimize operational efficiency
Enhance processes and compliance: Implement best practices for handling chemicals, maintain safety protocols, and explore improved laundry products and techniques in collaboration with supply vendors.
Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
