Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Job Description
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President , Full-Stack Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team. This role is located in Pune
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Lead the design and implementation of full stack solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Proactively identify opportunities to simplify experiences, reduce operational toil, and streamline workflows, sparking progress across our platforms.
Demonstrate BNY’s principles—Be Client Obsessed, Own It, Stay Curious, Thrive Together—through your delivery, collaboration, and continuous learning.
AI ready and contribute to AI initiatives and solutions.
Contribute to agile ceremonies and align to agile ways of working
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related Engineering.
8-15 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related IT occupation.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in enterprise environments.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Java, Big Data, Node.js, Python).
Experience with databases and analytical tools (e.g SQL,Snowflake).
Experience in using AI tools and solutions (e.g Windsurf/Devin/CoPilot/Coding assistants).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to deployment of applications in production region.
Experience in leading a small team
Experience in managing stakeholder communication.
