Video Content Creator – Shoot & Edit (Contract)

About the role
Urban Company's in-house learning platform that trains service partners, trainers and internal teams. We're looking for a hands-on Video Content Creator who owns the full pipeline — planning, shooting, editing and delivering training videos. This is not a coordination role: you'll be behind the camera and in the edit timeline every day.
You'll be directly responsible for two kinds of output:
Technical learning videos — step-by-step service procedures, product/tool usage, safety and SOP walkthroughs
Short films for training — scenario-based stories on customer interaction, behaviour, do's and don'ts, and real situations partners face on the job
What you'll do
Plan and execute end-to-end shoots at UC training centres, offices and field locations — recce, shot lists, lighting, audio, talent direction
Edit raw footage into polished, learner-friendly videos in Adobe Premiere Pro — multi-cam, colour, sound, captions, platform-specific exports
Build motion graphics, callouts, lower-thirds and animated explainers in After Effects
Convert SOPs, trainer inputs and PPTs into scripts, storyboards and shot lists; work with SMEs to keep content technically accurate
Use Google Flow, Claude and AI audio tools for scripting, b-roll/scenario visuals, multilingual voice-overs and localised versions
Produce short-form and vertical cuts in CapCut; create thumbnails, title cards and templated assets in Canva
Maintain brand consistency, naming conventions and an organised media library
Deliver against a monthly content calendar with agreed turnaround times; iterate on trainer and learner feedback
Tools you must be proficient in
Adobe Premiere Pro · Adobe After Effects · CapCut · Canva · Google Flow (Veo) · Claude · AI audio/voice generation (ElevenLabs or equivalent)
What we're looking for
2–4 years of hands-on shooting and editing experience, ideally training, e-learning, explainer or corporate content
Portfolio showing both instructional videos and narrative/scenario-based short films
Comfortable directing non-actors and running a small on-ground shoot independently
Proven use of AI tools in a real production workflow
Fluency in Hindi and English; regional-language VO/subtitle experience is a plus
Organised and deadline-driven; can manage multiple videos in parallel
Good to have
Experience creating content for service-professional audiences or an LMS
Basic sound design / colour grading; DaVinci Resolve exposure
Own basic shoot kit (camera, lav mic, portable lights, gimbal)
Willing to travel within Delhi NCR and occasionally to other cities
Equipment
Own laptop is mandatory
