As a Program/Project Management Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the comprehensive delivery of programs or projects to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role requires defining the scope of projects clearly and continuously monitoring the progress of deliverables to maintain quality and timeliness. The position demands active communication with various stakeholders to manage expectations, address challenges, and ensure successful outcomes. The role also involves coordinating efforts across different teams and adapting plans as necessary to meet evolving project needs, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment throughout the project lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the planning and execution of project activities to ensure milestones are met effectively.
Facilitate clear communication channels among stakeholders to promote transparency and alignment.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery.
Support the development and mentoring of junior team members to enhance overall team capability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Program Project Management.
Strong skills in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
Ability to analyze project performance metrics and implement improvements.
Competence in risk management and issue resolution within complex project environments.
Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Program Project Management.
This position is based at our Chennai office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
