This position reports to:
Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Supervise the daily activities of the CNC technician team.
Assign work priorities and balance production workloads.
Provide technical support for CNC machine programming, setup, and commissioning.
Coordinate production start-ups, model changeovers, and process releases.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and productivity.
Diagnose and resolve machining, tooling, programming, and quality issues.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and train personnel.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, manufacturing or industrial Engineering.
5+ years of experience working in similar positions.
Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Proven experience working with CAD systems and Master Cam.
Advanced interpretation of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
Extensive hands-on experience with DMG Mori, Haas, Star, and Index machine tools.
Intermediate English level.
Valid visa and passport is required.
