About The Role
Cvent is looking for multiple talented Software Developers in Test II (SDET II) to join our Technology team, which designs, develops and operates large-scale, Web-based applications and integrated mobile solution. This is a unique full-time opportunity for an individual who is seeking new challenges. In this role you will deliver technical solutions to ensure overall quality and integrity of scalable, high performance solutions for transaction-intensive web application and micro services. This Quality SDET team position plays an integral role for Sprint teams in providing technical and product feedback at all stages of the development life cycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create end-to-end automated tests for comprehensive test coverage
Leverage AI tools like Copilot and Claude to accelerate automation scripting, test planning, test generation, and analysis across the testing lifecycle.
Test AI-based features and write Evals to validate model outputs, accuracy, and reliability.
Design, develop, and implement performance and load tests.
Troubleshoot and analyze the results of performance/load tests, sharing root causes with team.
Improve code coverage of automated tests using code quality tools.
Collaborate with Developers and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Assist in creating test strategy and plans.
Provide usability and functional feedback to the product team.
Collaborate and assist sprint teams in raising overall quality and increasing velocity.
Collaborate with the Automation team to enhance Cvent's testing tools and frameworks.
Bring up ideas and contribute to achieving high software quality goals.
What You’ll Need For The Role
Possess a B.E./B.Tech/MCA regular degree from a reputed institute/university
Have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in web application testing & writing automation tests using web automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, etc.
Possess at least 6 months of hands-on experience in API automation testing.
Demonstrate experience in leveraging AI tools and Generative AI technologies to optimize testing activities, like automation scripting, test data generation, test planning/design and analysis, etc.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted workflows.
Proficiently use developer tools and IDEs, such as Intellij/Eclipse/VSCode and GIT.
Demonstrate experience working in a CI/CD environment, like Jenkins, for executing and integrating automated tests.
Possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for effective technical problem-solving.
Possess strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable test code.
Exposure to performance test automation tools (Gatling, Sitespeed, JMeter, or similar) for developing and monitoring load/performance tests is a plus.
Exposure to LLM-based testing techniques to test AI-powered features and writing Evals to validate model outputs and behavior is a plus.
Experience with testing frameworks/tools like JUnit, Jest, or Karate is a plus.
