Role Description The Acquisition Manager – BBG (Working Capital) is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for sourcing and acquiring new business banking customers for working capital and related products. The role involves identifying prospective clients, building and managing relationships with business owners and financial decision-makers, and conducting needs-based discussions to recommend appropriate working capital solutions. The Acquisition Manager collaborates with internal teams for credit assessment, documentation, and smooth onboarding, while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include achieving acquisition and revenue targets, monitoring portfolio health, providing after-sales support, and contributing market insights to enhance products and processes.
Qualifications
Strong skills in business development, lead generation, and client relationship management for working capital and business banking products.
Proficiency in financial analysis, credit understanding, and documentation related to SME and business lending.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices in the business banking domain.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in SME/BBG acquisition or working capital sales within a bank or NBFC is highly preferred.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment, manage multiple accounts, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Comfort with using CRM tools and basic MS Office applications for reporting and portfolio tracking.
