Role Description The Housekeeping Guest Service Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented guest rooms and public areas, including tasks such as making beds, replenishing amenities, dusting, vacuuming, and ensuring all facilities are in good working order. The associate will respond promptly to guest requests, provide courteous assistance, and coordinate with the front office and other departments to support seamless guest experiences. Daily responsibilities also include reporting maintenance issues, following hygiene and safety protocols, adhering to brand standards, and supporting inventory control for linens, supplies, and housekeeping equipment. The role requires a strong focus on attention to detail, time management, and teamwork to uphold Royal Orchid’s service quality.
Qualifications
Strong guest-focused skills, including Guest Services and Guest Service, with the ability to respond to requests and resolve concerns professionally.
Customer Service capabilities to handle interactions courteously, manage expectations, and maintain a positive guest experience.
Basic Reservations understanding to coordinate with front office on room status, check-ins, and special guest requirements.
Effective Communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members, follow instructions, and report issues accurately.
Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or hotel operations is preferred.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and bending safely.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety and hygiene standards, and use of housekeeping equipment is an advantage.
Minimum high school education or equivalent; certification in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
