Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance Associate role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Finance Associate will handle day-to-day finance operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting monthly and quarterly closing activities, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting and compliance, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely data collection. The role also involves conducting financial and variance analysis, supporting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that aid decision-making. The Finance Associate will work closely with senior finance team members to strengthen financial processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and familiarity with core financial concepts and practices.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and supporting Financial Reporting activities.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and data-driven decision support.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting financial information.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CFA Level I) are an advantage.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, basic ERP tools), attention to detail, and a high level of integrity in handling financial data.
Prior experience or internships in corporate finance, accounting, or audit are beneficial; interest in the space-tech or aerospace sector is a plus.
