Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in New Delhi. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving loan sales across Capri Loans’ key product segments, managing and expanding a portfolio of customers, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring a sales team, planning and executing branch-level sales activities, tracking performance metrics, and preparing regular sales reports. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and local market influencers, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies. The Sales Manager will collaborate with credit, operations, and collections teams to ensure smooth loan processing, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement in sales processes.
Qualifications
Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in financial services or related sectors.
Experience in retail lending domains such as Gold Loans, MSME Loans, Housing Loans, or Construction Finance, with sound understanding of credit and risk principles.
Ability to lead, coach, and motivate sales teams, including performance management, goal setting, and field support.
Proficiency in market analysis, pipeline management, and sales planning, supported by data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer segments.
Comfort with using CRM tools and standard office software for tracking leads, managing portfolios, and preparing reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in an NBFC, bank, or other lending institution, preferably in a managerial or team-lead role.
Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, travel
